About

Voice Actor | Voice Director | Coach

Erin’s acting dreams started at 3 years old when she found out that the only way to “get into the TV and become a Ghostbuster” was to be an actor. Inspired by the classic cinema tales of Old Hollywood, she spent her childhood in theatre and musical theatre programs to develop skills in acting, singing, and tap dancing — the classic triple threat!

Her biggest hobbies growing up were reading, watching films, and playing video games. All three media formats deeply moved Erin and fostered a lifelong love of storytelling. This love of storytelling would also stir Erin to write. Her short stories and poetry ended up being published in multiple collections!

In high school, Erin attended an accelerated course at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and garnered a Certificate in Drama Essentials.  She later attended St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland where she studied several languages (Ancient Greek, Latin, and French for translation) and was involved in chorus and stage productions including Antigone and Prometheus Bound

After a brief hiatus, Erin joined the United States Air Force. She served 11 years in the service, and garnered a degree in Russian Studies from the Defense Language Institute, attaining fluency in Russian. The majority of her military career was spent as a surgical technologist at a trauma hospital. While working at the hospital, Erin spent her free time volunteering for charity and expressing her artistic side as an art director and costume designer for local film and TV. She was on set for a sci-fi pilot when the sound guy asked her if she had ever considered “doing voice over.” And that fated encounter would change the course of her entire life.

After that, Erin homed in specifically on voice acting and focused on receiving private coaching and attending workshops. She studied for several years under Crispin Freeman, eventually becoming his teaching assistant for the Voice Acting Mastery online workshops, which she did for two years.

Through a series of right-place-right-time moments, Erin jumped on the opportunity to work with a localization company casting and directing video games. She now regularly directs AAA video games including the new soulslike sensationMistfall Hunter, esports title Strinova, expansions for the action battle royale Naraka: Bladepoint (a 2024 Golden Joystick Nominee!), and mobile games such as Gold & Glory, Legend of Almia RPG, and Mythic Girls. She is looking forward to sharing the upcoming new and exciting projects she’s been working on!

In addition to acting and directing, Erin prides herself in her passion for education. She applies her military background with her current industry experience to teach acting and goal planning for voice actors through her private coaching program. She is especially proud of her Video Game Efforts Workshop Series which focuses on the nuance in both acting and extreme vocals required to succeed in the AAA video game world.

Outside of work, Erin is a devoted mother who spends her time making memories with her two beautiful children, her partner Nicholas Markgraf, and their two rambunctious cats. Together, they love going on nature walks, creating art, and visiting new and exciting places such as museums, zoos, and aquariums. Erin’s ultimate goal is to end up in every show and game that her children love so that they can all share these special stories together.
